Sunbrella

Your solution to the desert sun!

In many parts of the country, people are just starting to venture outdoors, the last bit of snow is melting, and the outdoor festivals and backyard grills are in full effect.

In Tucson, we are already tanned from being outdoors since February. And we like to stay outdoors. Which is why we love outdoor furniture. Unfortunately the problem is, most outdoor furniture can’t survive a summer here. The fabrics get faded and fall apart. For many of us the damaging sun is our mortal enemy during the hot summer, but that does not have to be the case for your fabrics.

Introducing Sunbrella.

The only Fabric that stands a real chance against the summer heat-waves. You can leave it in the direct sun, you can let it fall into the pool for a few days, have some dust storms dirty it up, then spray it down with the hose, and like magic, it still looks and feels like the day you had your furniture reupholstered.

SUNBRELLA IS UNIQUE

Every single thread is coated with  UV-Protection spray. The Fabric is heavy woven for extra durability outdoors. On top of everything else, It is guaranteed by the factory to last almost twice as long as any regular acrylic fabric. Sunbrealla’s UV-protection protects and preserves the designs and stitching, while also resisting fading, rotting, mold and mildew.

Many of our clients this summer are using Sunbrella fabric in beautiful colors for their outdoor patios and putting it on metal, durable drapery rods. So now we are able to draw that against the western sun or you can drape it and tie it back. It will make your outdoor living place look much more warm and inviting.

Also, fresh on the market is “Sheer” Sunbrella. These newer fabrics retain all the durability and UV-Protection that regular Sunbrella offers, but it still allows air to come through (great for the little desert breeze we get), while still providing shade and privacy. Sunbrella is the ideal fabric for your outdoor patio.

Now, if you are thinking, “this is too hard to do myself”… Think again! We have rod systems that make it very easy to traverse the draperies back and forth and to tie them back. Of course you could also work with our experienced team of designers to do everything for you.
